About TENVIR -EM TABLETS

Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate are both nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). They work by blocking the action of an enzyme called reverse transcriptase, which the HIV virus needs to replicate. This dual action prevents the virus from multiplying, thereby reducing the amount of HIV in the body.

Side effects
